From Fort Jones take Scott River Road heading west. (Ranger Station, gas station and Ray's Market on the three corners)
Follow Scott River road about 14 miles.
At Indian Scotty Campground sign, turn left and cross bridge to head up mountain to reach Boulder Creek, Lovers Camp, Box Camp and Paradise Lake trail heads.
To reach Kelsey Creek Trail head, continue on Scott River Road a few more miles after passing Indian Scotty turn-off, until you cross the large bridge over the Scott River. RIGHT at the end of the bridge, take the dirt road to the left. Kelsey Creek trail head is about 1/2 mile up this dirt road (stay to the right).
