From Etna (Hwy. 3) go south on Hwy. 3 for about a couple of miles. Turn Right onto French Creek Road (3G). Follow French Creek road all the way to the top and turn Right at the T onto FS road 40N22. Go to the end and turn Right at the T onto FS road 41N14. The trailhead is on the Left about a mile down this road.
From Duck Lake trailhead, continue on same road, past first creek/bridge and then park in wide area beside road (pull out). Do NOT attempt to drive all the way to the trailhead with a trailer behind you, as the next creek crossing is washed out. A single vehicle can make it thru, but not a vehicle with a trailer. Ride from here less than 1/2 mile to the actual Trail Head.
