Directions to Cabin Creek Trail Head

From I-5, take Hwy. 89 just south of the city of Mt. Shasta. Go 12 miles to the town of McCloud. As you enter McCloud turn Right onto Squaw Valley Rd. (car wash on one corner and the old red McCloud Dairy Barn on the other corner). Follow Squaw Valley Rd. about 6 miles. Right after Friday's Retreat RV Park turn Right onto FS road 39N21, which is a wide dirt road with some pot holes, but in pretty good condition. Follow this road about 3 miles to the Cabin Creek Trail Head which is basically a wide area on the side of the road with an outhouse.

Directions to Ash Creek Trail Head

From I-5, take Hwy. 89 just south of the city of Mt. Shasta. Go 12 miles to the town of McCloud. As you enter Mccloud turn right onto Squaw valley Rd. (car wash on one corner and the old red McCloud Dairy Barn on the other corner). Follow Squaw Valley Rd. to Lake McCloud and continue on around the West side of the lake and across the dam. Turn right after the dam and continue another mile or so to the sign showing the turn off into Ash Camp. This road goes directly into the camp just down the hill.

Directions to Centipede Trail Head

Follow the directions to Ash Camp but continue on past Ash Camp another 1/4 mile or so. Centipede Trail Head is on the left side of the road.

Directions to Ah-Di-Na PCT junction

Follow the directions to Ash Camp as far as Lake McCloud. About half way around the west side of the lake watch for the turn off to Ah-Di-Na which is Forest Service Road 38N53. Follow this road until the PCT crosses the road (watch for PCT trail signs). There is a wide spot next to the road where you can park and turn a fairly large trailer around.

We have not been all the way to Ah-Di-Na Camp. If anyone has and can provide some information on that camp, we'd appreciate it and post it here.
